Hearken back to those simpler days when the hardest thing a shepherd had to do was defend their sheep from the occasional wolf or filthy thief. Now arm those shepherds with pointy things and you\'ve got Sheep Raids!

Full of fun, food, and plenty of sheep-related things there is something for everyone! Your registration fee even includes access to the catch-and-release fishing pond. Bring your horse and enjoy the riding trail, or for $25 you can signup for a ride with an on-site horse!

There\'s fighting! There\'s camping! There\'s arts! There\'s sciences! There\'s sheep... stuff! But do you know what there isn\'t? Points on hats! That\'s right, you can leave the weight of those pointy hats behind and enjoy a totally pointless event.

What do you mean POINTLESS?

Sheep Raids has been designated as a \"peasant event\" where the game is to recreate a peasant town. There are no lords or ladies and all of the nobility are off doing more noble things. This is an opportunity for those with pointy hats to be able to relax with no responsibilities (beyond saving their sheep). There\'s no court, no hierarchy, just fun!

Arts & Sciences Activities: A&S Competition and Classes
The theme for the day is sheep! And there is something for everyone.
Everything Sheep: Eat it. Use it. Wear it. We would love to see what you bring for display. Weaving, Spinning, Felting, Cooking, Leatherworking, Soap making - it\'s all welcome. Don\'t sweat the documentation, this just about sharing sheep-related handiwork! The Populace members will have the opportunity to vote on their favorite items.

Alternative Sheep
Dress that adorable dog up as a sheep for the amusement of others! Also a prize. But let\'s be honest... it\'s more about the amusement.

Pull the Wool Over Our Eyes
In this Bardic challenge, storytellers are asked to share their most believable untrue story!

Riding trails can be booked for $25 on site. Trails are free to use for those who bring their own horses.

Site Restrictions: No in-ground fires, pets leashed, site is wet. This is an equestrian campground so there are horses on site and trail rides available during the event.

Other Information: There will be a fundraiser lunch available.

Family Activities
Let\'s do some things as a family! Youth must be attended by a parent or guardian to participate. Any unattended youth will be given sticky candy and sent back to their encampment.

Scavenger Hunt
What better way to get to know those around you, and learn the event site by going on a little bit of a scavenger hunt?

Firepot
This active and competitive game will teach families the best way to lay siege to castles when all you have handy is a burning pot of sheep dung!
