Escape Winter\'s Dreary hold; bask in the promise of Spring; join us in a Japanese Garden for Bright Hills Baronial Birthday and Investiture.

Arts & Sciences Activities: \"Only the Best from Bright Hills\" - Any and all items may be entered; documentation will earn extra points but is not required. \"Japanese Garb Competition\" - The best representation of Japanese garb. Garb must be made by the Individual wearing it. There will be a separate prize for children who make their own Japanese Garb. \"Bardic Bear Pit\" to be run by Lady Faye de Trees. There will be a table decorating competition; create your own table top Japanese Display.

Cost Notes: There will be a cap on fees for families with charges not to exceed fees to cover 2 adults and 2 children (7-17). Maximum fee for 2 adults and 2 children on board, not including NMS fee, would be $58.00.

Site: Manchester Fire Hall, York Street, Manchester, MD 21102. Site opens at 10 Am and closes at 10 PM.

Site Restrictions: No open flames.

Feast Information: There will be a feast of two OPULENT removes provided by Baroness Cordelia. This will not be Japanese cooking. For any dietary concerns, you may contact her at BaronessCordelia[AT]hotmail.com or by phone at 410-638-7798 before 8:00 p.m. There will be a cut-off date for feast of Saturday, January 30, 2011.

Merchanting Information: Vendor space is limited and will be on a first-come-first-served basis. If the weather is good there is an option for outdoor vendors. Contact Lady Nem Inghean Dochartaigh at nrf642002[AT]yahoo.com or by phone at 443-621-7383 before 8:00 p.m.

Other Information: Lunch will be offered by the Bright Hills Archers as a fundraiser. There will be activities for children throughout the day.

Directions:

From I-695 take Exit #19/N.W. Expressway/Owings Mills/Reisterstown onto I-795 N. Take Left Exit #9A/Hanover; continue on Butler Road (MD-128N); turn left on Hanover Pike (MD-30) and continue to follow it until you turn right on to York Street. The fire hall is on your right about 1/2 mile up York Street.
