Come and join us as we celebrate our 23rd Baronial Birthday! There will be numerous A & S activities, Heavy & Youth martial activities (Weather permitting), our annual Bardic Bear pit and more! break out of the Winter doldrums with friends and fun. A two course feast and dessert board will feature old and new favorites from the Bright Hills Cooks Guilds stash of tasty dishes. Merchants are most welcome and there will be some interesting Children\'s activities.

Martial Activities: Heavy weapons and youth fighting IF WEATHER PERMITS

Arts & Sciences Activities: Assorted competitions, Competition to select the Baronial A & S champion, open displays, Bardic Bear Pit, Brewing competition for Baronial Brewing Champion. A display covering the history of Bright hills will be et up and we invite all to enjoy it. See website for updates and more descriptions.

Cost Notes: Feast seating is for 80 paid reservations. Children 5 and under will be seated at your table but will need to be tucked in with the regular 8 seats per table.

Site Restrictions:  No smoking in the building or out building, No pets - service animals only. The site is wet.

Feast Information: Seating for 80, 2 courses and a dessert board. Head Cook is Countess Rowan Berran McDowell(Denise McMahon). For dietary concerns or restrictions please contact her at gerkeeper AT mac dot com.

Merchanting Information: If you wish to merchant kindly contact Lady Livia di Samuel (Sherrill Abramson) at abramsonsm AT yahoo DOT com. THe site has plenty of tables available for your use. Additionally, you may check in one hour before the site opens to make set up easier for you.

Other Information: Please include both modern and SCA names and membership numbers when sending in reservations. The Event Steward will do her best to answer any questions or concerns about the event in general - no calls after 9 PM eastern time.

Directions:

Take your best route to Baltimore, MD and Follow I-695 to exit # 19/ I-795. Follow I-795 for +/-9 miles to MD rte 30 West. Follow MD Rte 30 +/- 14 miles into Manchester. In Manchester turn Right onto York Street. The site will be on your Right in about a 1/4 mile or less. From Western MD and Northern VA take your best rte to I-70 and proceed to Exit # 68/MD Rte 27. Follow Rte 27 North +/- 26 miles, ending at MD rte 30. Turn Right on Rte 30/Main St and at the next traffic light turn Left onto York Street and the site will be on your Right. Look for the stone gateway entrance.
