In honor of the upcoming Holiday Season, the Barony of Nottinghill Coill invites you to join us in celebrating Yule Toy Tourney 2014 – A Irish Yule. In the spirit of the Season, we are proud to be sponsoring Country Santa again this year by gathering toys for the children and families of our Barony. The toys will be given out to children by the Country Santa organization to help make the Yule season joyous for everyone! Check out countrysanta.org for more information about this worthy cause! For our overnight guests we have rooms that come standard with bathrooms that have showers and heat or air conditioning as the weather requires. The rooms are dorm style and sleep from 6 to 12 gentles. Linens, blankets and towels must be provided by guests. There are only 64 beds available so get your reservations in early. The event cost is one new, unwrapped toy per person!

Martial Activities:  Heavy Tourney will be a traditional 4 weapons tourney Rapier Tourneys – to be announced Cut and Thrust – to be announced Archery will be a Holiday-themed shoot

Arts & Sciences Activities: 
Celtic design Knotwork: the use of knotwork on any medium; clothing, gourds, leather, wood, ceramic, etc... Basic documentation is requested. Extra points if relate to Nottinghill Coill and/or your Canton. Toys: reproduction or historically inspired toy made from any medium; wood, metal, leather, fabric, ceramic, etc... Basic documentation is requested. To be donated to Country Santa, so must be appropriate for modern times. Christmas Desert: best Christmas desert from your SC persona time period. Recipe is required but basic documentation is requested.

Cost Notes:  The event cost is one new, unwrapped toy per person! (Participants in Martial Activities and A&S Activities are asked to donate 1 additional toy per activity entered.) Room cost is $15.00 per person for the weekend. Feast cost is $10.00 per adult, children 7 years and younger who join us for feast are guests of the Barony.

Site: Table Rock Wesleyan - Tabor Building125 Bethany Cove Dr. Pickens, SC 2967. Site opens Friday 5pm, closes Sunday 12pm.

Site Restrictions:  No Pets, Smoking only in designated areas, SITE IS ABSOLUTELY DRY.

Feast Information:  The feast will be cooked by Lord Axum O’Neal and promises to be a high point of the event! There is only room for 72 gentles to eat feast, so be sure to get your reservations in early!

Merchanting Information:  All merchants are welcome! Just contact the Event Steward with any questions or requests.

Other Information:  Baron Geldemar will be teaching and demonstrating period dances Saturday evening. So come get your Medieval Groove on!
