OYEZ, OYEZ!  Caer Mear calls all of Atlantia to join us for Ruby Joust 1 and the investiture of our next Baron and Baroness.  We will offer a full weekend of tournaments, arts, and fellowship.  Please see our website for additional event information.

Martial Activities:  
Grand Tournaments for both armor and rapier on Saturday to demonstrate your individual chivalry and prowess.  The Ruby Jousts return to Sunday morning while Sunday afternoon will showcase melees and group fighting.  Please note that all fighting will start on time.  Youth Combat, Archery, and Thrown Weapons will be scheduled throughout the weekend.  Martial schedule will be on the website.

Arts & Sciences Activities:  
Artisan Row will open Saturday for messy crafts and needle arts.  Please contact the Event Steward to be part of artisan’s row.  A display and competition schedule will be on the website.

Cost Notes:  Make your reservations via ACCEPS March 1st - May 13, 2012, or by sending your pre-registration to the Event Steward, post-marked by May 18th.  Please save a copy of your ACCEPS receipt and bring it with you when you check-in.   At-the-door fees rise $3.00 for adults to $15 for members and $20 for non-members.  Youth fees remain the same.  If you are in-charge of a group, please email the Event Steward with your group name.

Site:  Tom Scott Park, 8740 Otterburn Road, Amelia, VA 23002 (address is approximate, site has no physical address. Please see Directions) Site opens Friday 3:00 pm, closes Monday 12:00 noon.

Site Restrictions:  
No pets. Service animals are permitted. The Event Steward reserves the right to have any service animal removed from site which becomes disruptive to other event guests. Fire pits and bowls are permitted. Fire pits must be completely turfed at the conclusion of the event, and fire bowl ashes must be thoroughly saturated before the ashes are dumped along the forest line. Ashes should NOT be left in the middle of camp sites.  Alcohol is permitted.  Cars must be moved to parking area at VA Hall across the street after unloading (royalty, event staff and handicapped parking by special tag only).

From North, South, East – Best route to VA Route 288. Go West on US 360 (towards Amelia). Turn left on Business Route 360 East (Goodies Bridge Rd). There is an International Truck store on right.
** Turn Right on Otterburn Rd (Rt 614). Go 1/2 mile to stop sign. Go straight (becomes Route 38/Five Forks Road ) for 1/2 mile. Gate is on the left in the VA Hall. Site is on the right.

From West – Best route to 360 East. Turn right on Business Route 360 East (Goodies Bridge Rd). Follow directions from **.
