We invite you to join us as we engage in the quieter arts of war! Show your mettle at archery and thrown weapons, display your skill in the arts and sciences, or outwit your foes on the gaming board.

Martial Activities: Archery is the order of the day with a Royal Round and specialty shoots in abundance! There will also be a target for thrown weapons.

Arts & Sciences Activities: There will be a display area in the hall, and we’d love to see your latest projects! There will be prizes for the best project related to the British Isles, for best documentation, and for best work in progress. If you are interested in teaching a class, please contact the Event Steward.

Site: The Amelia County War Memorial Building, 16330 Dunn Street, Amelia Court House, VA 23002. Archery will be across the street behind the James L. Hamner Public Library, 16351 Dunn Street. The site opens at 10:00 am and closes at 10:00 pm.

Feast Information: There will be a potluck dinner in the hall. Please bring a dish to feed 8 to 10, with a list of ingredients. Yarnvid will provide bread, cheese, and sausages.

Merchanting Information: We’re sorry, but there will be no merchants at this event.

Other Information: A variety of board games will be available in the hall, or bring your own to share. There will also be a bocce court set up behind the library.

From the East – Take your best route to US-360 West going towards Amelia. Once you cross Old Hundred Road go 19.8 miles. Turn right at the light onto Goodes Bridge Road. Go 2.1 miles, then turn left onto VA-38 at Virginia Street. Stay on VA-38 as it winds through town -- left onto Court Street and right onto E. Washington Street. Stay on E. Washington Street until you see the library almost directly ahead of you. Turn left onto Dunn Street. The hall will be on your left. There is parking at the hall and behind the library for access to the archery field.

From the West – Take your best route to US-360 East. Turn right on Amelia Avenue. Turn slight right onto Court Street. Turn right onto E. Washington Street and follow it until you see the library. Turn right onto Dunn Street.
