Feast of the Unicorn- the Karkadann

The unicorn of Persia, the fierce and ferocious karkadann, was a terrible beast that could attack and kill even an elephant! The only thing that could tame this savage animal was the ring dove; so soothing did the karkadann find their gentle calls that it would lie peacefully beneath a tree where they were singing for hours on end. Martial Activities: Come now and hear the words of the marshall, On this day of the Karkadann, there will be martial tests in ways pleasing to the marshall and it will be thus, armored disciplines will be restricted to weapon & shield or dual weapon and most important, swords used will be of the single bladed variety.
Of the Rapier, duels will be of single blade.
Archery and atl-atl contests will also be available.
Arts & Sciences Activities: For the gentle arts, there will be classes and competitions for the arts of the Middle East, unicorns in any medium, Middle Eastern dance, open display and youth.
