Come and join the Barony of Hidden Mountain as we celebrate our 28th Birthday! A full weekend of fighting, arts, games, bardic, and more is planned! Their Excellencies will choose Champions from the populace of Hidden Mountain for: Archery, Armored, Rapier, A&S, and Bardic. Baronial Champion contenders must enter at least one competition related to their field and a category in A&S. Those vying for the champions in the arts must compete in two different categories (ex: scrolls and clothing).
Martial Activities: There will be an Armored Tourney based on Anglo Saxon Weapons Forms. At least one of the following forms will be used by the participants, Sword and Round Shield, Axe and Shield, or Shield and Short Spear. Round Shield(s) and Axes will be available to borrow. The Rapier Tourney will be determined by turn out and based on event theme
Arts & Sciences Activities: The theme is Anglo Saxon: Best display of Anglo Saxon culture; garb, headdress, recipes, poetry, etc, Scrolls; Kingdom, Baronial, & Backlog, & Open A&S. There will be a flat gilding class that we are asking for a $3 donation for supplies. Practical Gilding -Instructor: Lady Asta Knarrarbringa -Class Length: 1 hour -Cost: $3.00
-Supplies Needed: paper, gold, size, brushes, gilding tools -Supplies Provided By: Instructor -Description: This introduction class is a step by step, hands-on approach to learning flat gilding.

Cost Notes: There is cabin space for 30, plus areas for tent camping $3.00 a person. The cabins only have four cots in them but if your group would like to rent a whole cabin they need to contact the Event Steward for pricing. Feast is limited to 64, so please pre-register! Per Baronial Policy, written requests for refunds must be received by the Reservationist no later than June 7.
Site: Girl Scout Camp Low Country 1280 Three Mile Road, Cordesville, SC 29434. Site opens Friday 6pm, closes Sunday 11am.
Site Restrictions: Smoking only permitted at smoke pits. No pets. No Alcohol.

From Charleston Area:
Take I-26 to Hwy 52 North (Rivers Ave) through Goose Creek. Continue on to Moncks Corner. When you reach Moncks Corner, you will hit a stoplight. Take a left at this stop light (you are still on Hwy 52). Continue for approximately 5 miles. You will go over the Tail Race Canal (there is a sign). After you cross the Tail Race Canal there is a stop light. At this stop light take a right turn (the only way you can turn) onto Hwy 402. Take Hwy 402 towards Cordesville/Huger. Travel approximately 10 miles to Cordesville. Cordesville is a post office and a railroad track. After you cross the railroad track travel 9/10 of a mile. Turn right onto Three Mile Road. There is a street sign and a Camp Low Country sign. This is the camp road. Travel 3 more miles and the road ends at the camp’s gate.
From Orangeburg/Columbia:
Take I-26 towards Charleston. Get off at exit 199 towards Moncks Corner (not Summerville). You are now on Hwy Take Hwy 17A approximately 17 miles into Moncks Corner.
