Midwinter's 2020
(2020-01-25 - Site opens at 9 AM & Closes at 9 PM)
Lochmere

When we think of new worlds, our minds tend to jump to 1492 AD, but humans have been traveling and exploring long before that. From the expansion of Rome to the Crusades, the Silk Road to the Norseman"s Raid on Lindesfarne, cultures have blended in various ways. For Midwinter"s Feast 2020, we will be exploring new worlds through our art, story-telling, singing, and cooking!

- Age of Exploration: We ask you to create a piece in any medium either incorporating materials from a new land or depictions of some aspect of the new land. Documentation is preferred and encouraged, with EZ docs being acceptable.

Arts & Sciences Competitions:

- Tools of Exploration: Recreate a tool used in exploration, such as an item used for navigation, packs to carry gear, or even a boat! (Maybe just a small boat...) Don"t let my examples limit you, however, it"s a big world. Documentation is required and must include how and where the item would have been used, who would have used it, and how you created it.

- Open Display: Space will be provided for you to display your most recent projects, completed or in progress.
