The frost begins to weaken around the grave of the ice giant Ymir and the Canton of Elvegast readies for the Tourney Season to begin. There will be several Arts and Sciences competitions and classes, children’s activities, Pages’ Academy, merchants, newcomers’ activities, and dancing and a bardic circle in the evening, and hearty Viking fare to be had throughout the day. How can one possibly stay home?!
Martial Activities:
Armored combatants shall have a chance to compete in the traditional Viking-style Ymir Tourney. A Tourney shall also be held challenge the expertise of the rapier fighters and there will be targets aplenty for archers to test their skill.
Arts & Sciences Activities:
There will be classes and contests for all.

Site: Betsy-Jeff Penn 4H Center, 804 Cedar Lane, Reidsville, NC 27320. Site opens at 6 pm on the 8th and closes at 12 pm on the 10th.
Site Restrictions: Pets permitted only on a leash. Fires allowed in only designated areas (pre-existing fire pits). You may bring stoves and the like for cooking. However, no food may be cooked or prepared in the cabins. Swim in the lake at your own risk; no lifeguard is on duty. Alcohol is permitted on site for those over the age of 21. Please be prepared to take your empties and trash home with you. It is advisable if you have a cart to bring it with you for loading and unloading, as parking directly by the cabins is prohibited.
Feast: A delicious sideboard feast will be provided in the evening.

Merchants: Merchants are welcome!

Directions:
FROM RALEIGH, BURLINGTON: Follow Interstate 85/40 WEST to Greensboro. When given the option of following I-40 OR I-85, stay on I-40. Exit right onto Lee St. (Hwy 6) toward downtown Greensboro. Follow Lee Street approximately 2.5 miles, then follow the signs to join Hwy 29 North. Merge onto 29 N and continue north out of Greensboro until you come to the 4th Reidsville exit (Highway 14 - Eden, Yanceyville, Reidsville). Turn left at the top of this ramp, following Highway 14 North. After the third traffic light (past Lowe’s, Food Lion, and WalMart), turn left onto Salem Church Rd. There is no light, but there is a large billboard and a horse farm near the corner. Continue on Salem Church Rd for approximately 2 miles, then turn HARD right onto Cedar Lane. The 4H Center is on the left, at 804 Cedar Lane.
