Feast of the Saints: St. Anthony

St. Anthony of Padua (1195-1231) is most popularly known as the patron saint of lost items. He is also the patron saint of barren women, amputees, travelers, and many more.  His passion for charity has inspired the charity activities at our event: Project Linus.

Martial Activities:  Martial Activities have been scheduled for those who desire to fight both rapier and armored combat.  Prizes for both will be provided by Falcon Leatherworks.  Rapier will begin at 9:30 a.m. – those who are ready on time will be rewarded extra points. Archery will also be found!

Arts & Sciences Activities:  All categories require minimal documentation: What, who, when, where, why, and how.  For information contact Ceara of Novgorod (reshtani[AT]gmail.com).  Fish: Anything pertaining to fish in period. Moorish Spain: Anything pertaining to Islam in Spain in period. Things You Want to Lose: St. Anthony is the patron saint of lost things. Be creative! Open Display (non-competition): Share your SCA projects; complete and incomplete.

Cost Notes:  **Children only charged for feast if they need a physical seat.  There are a limited number of rooms on
site; Small ($30) and Large ($60). Small rooms have double and twin beds. Large rooms sleep 10. All rooms have private bathrooms, and space on the floor for an air mattress. Linens not provided.  Rooms are reserved with your paid pre-registration, or at the gate if available.

Site:  Clinton House. 15171 Highway 56 North, Clinton, SC 29325.  Site opens Friday 6pm, closes Sunday 11am.

Site Restrictions:  No original containers for alcohol, No pets, No open flames. Smoking in designated areas.
