The Shire of Berley Cort is honored once again to host Winter University. This will take place on the 2nd day of February, 2008, and will be at a new location. This is the City of Franklin High School, 310 Crescent Drive, Franklin Va. 23851.
Please remember , this is a school and there will be no live steel; this includes belt knives. Rapier foils ARE OKAY, as we have permission for Rapier classes.

Other Information: Please address any questions or concerns to the Event Steward, nlt 10 p.m., please. This site is within 2 miles of the motels, stores, eateries, and ATM's on Armory Drive in Franklin, Va. and is next to the YMCA. We will be offering a simple lunch for those who wish to "eat in" Please be so kind as to specify if you will be eating on site, and whether you want a meat or vegetarian lunch.

From the South: Take your best route to I-95 N. Take the US-58 E exit – Exit 11A toward Emporia/Norfolk. Then after about 32 miles turn left onto US-58 BR E / Camp Parkway. Continue to follow US-58 BR E. About 3.5 miles turn left onto Hunterdale Road / VA-641. In about 0.1 miles turn right onto Fairview Drive. Then in 0.2 miles turn left onto Crescent Drive.
From the North: Take your best route to I-95 S. Take the US-301 / VA-35 / VA-156 exit – Exit 41 toward Courtland. After a quarter mile bare right onto US-301 / VA-35 / Courtland Road. Continue to follow VA-35 for just about 33 miles. Stay straight to go onto Mail Street / US-58 BR E. Continue to follow US-58 BR E. for about 2.2 miles. Turn left onto Southhampton Parkway / US-58 E for about 2.5 miles. Turn left onto US-58 BR E / Camp Parkway and continue to follow US-58 BR E for about 3.3 miles. Turn left onto Hunterdale Road / VA-641 and then a right onto Fairview Road. About a quarter mile your will then turn left onto Crescent Drive.
