Come one and all to join us and the High Country Theatre League in a celebration of the 450th birthday of the great William Shakespeare! The scenic mountains of North Carolina’s Lees-McRae College will host us for a FREE demo that includes armored fighting, rapier fighting, period games, A&S classes and an artisan’s row to display all talents (please contact the Event Steward for teaching and info). In the case of inclement mountain weather, we have an indoor contingency plan. In addition to the SCA, there will be other groups and clubs from the college, to include the Blue Ridge Wildlife Institute’s raptors. While there is no feast planned, numerous eating establishments surround the area for group dining after the day’s activities. Please come help show off all that the SCA has to offer and relax among friends while we share our Dream.Visit our web page and Facebook event for more information.
