Tear-Sea's Shore

Mannanan Mac Lir or “Mannanan, son of the sea” was celebrated as the sea God and was able to foretell of tempests on the seas.

The sheltered port of Tear’s Sea Shore invites you to our yearly celebration honouring Our patron God, Mannanan Mac Lir. Our celebration will be on our local “Isle of Man”- Harleyville, SC.

The Current holder of the Brooch of Mannanan Mac Lir calls forth any and all comers to answer his Challenge to try to wrest the Brooch from his rightful possession! For those of you unwilling to “brooch” that challenge, we will have various melees and other heavy martial activities. Thrown weapons enthusiasts will also get to toss their blades in honor and glory.

All things of the sea will be open for our Arts and Sciences competition. The specific categories are scrolls, garb and navigational tools.

The discriminating palate will enjoy fruits of the sea, such as eel, octopus and seaweed---just kidding!! Instead House Drunken Moose will be providing their usual delectable feast. For Dietary concerns please contact Baron Norton at (843) 875-1213, BEFORE January 20th.
