Welcome Friends! The Halls of Middlegate have much to offer you on this winter’s day. We wish to fill the hall with sounds of “Sagas” new and old. Step inside and get a cup of cider, and a bite to eat. There will be dancing and songs, and stories to pass the time. Competition of skill for warrior and artisan alike. Arts & Sciences Activities: There will be a number of Norse/Viking themed competitions, including a performing arts competition, early period illumination, and norse accessories. Feast Information: We will be providing a dayboard as part of your site fee. And Lady Murienne will be cooking a norse/viking inspired feast for the first 50 people who pre-register for feast. From the South: Take your best route to I-85 N toward Greensboro. Slight right at I-85 BUS N/US-52 N (signs for I-85 BUS/US-52/Lexington/Winston-Salem). Take exit 87 for I-85/US-29/US-70 toward High Point. Merge onto I-85 BUS N/US-29 N/US-70 E. Slight left to stay on I-85 BUS N/US-29 N/US-70 E. Take the exit. Continue straight (signs for US-311 N/US-29 N/US-70 E/I-85 BUS N/Winston-Salem/Greensboro) Take the ramp onto US-311 N. Take exit 69 for Greensboro Rd. Turn right at Greensboro Rd/US-29 Alt N. Continue to follow Greensboro Rd thru town. Ignore the road closed signs, the road isn’t closed til after the church. The church will be on the left side, one block past Guilford Rd. Park in the parking lot closest to the road and look for the SCA Signs for which door to enter.
From the West: Take your best route to I 40 E toward Greensboro. Slight right at US-311 S (signs for US-311 S/High Point). Take the ramp onto US-311 S. Take exit 69 for Greensboro Rd.
