Unto the glorious lands of Atlantia does your most recent Barony ask that you come join us in our first year celebration as well as assist us repel the threat that is coming to the coastal lands.  We were informed prior to our becoming a Barony that we would have a battle of sorts upon our lands. In representing the Kingdom of Atlantia, we ask that you travel to our lands and aid in defending against the Belgium Threat.  So gather your wears, armor and forks to aid us in this fight as well as festivities to follow the demolishing of this threat.

Martial Activities:  Tourney fighting for all combatants to enjoy against a worthy opponent.  Competitions will be held in order to help our Baron and Baroness choose who will represent them as Baronial Champions in the fighting fields.

Arts & Sciences Activities:  To all that are able to journey forth to celebrate the First Birthday of the Barony of Raven’s Cove, please, bring whatever projects you’ve completed, or, are working on. Documentation is a plus, but not required for an Open Category A&S Competition. Mistress Mordeyrn, Baronial A&S Officer also encourages you to bring out your heraldic finery to add to the ambiance of the festivities as she is sponsoring a competition for Heraldic Display in all forms. There will also be a competition for best Raven, in any medium. We look forward to the artisans of Atlantia and what creativity they will bring! Site:  Cypress Creek Community Center, 2745 Lightwood Bridge Road, Wallace, NC 28466-7359
Site opens 5pm Friday 16th of Sept and closes 11am Sunday 18th of Sept.

Site Restrictions:  Camping is permitted with day-trip fee.  Please take what you bring and clean up after yourselves.  Parking only in designated areas.

Feast Information:  A simple, yet delightful feast will be at the hands of THL Jehan Franc de Blauvac.  Contact him with any dietary request at E-mail: jehanfranc[AT]yahoo.com  FEAST IS LIMITED TO 75 PERSONS. Children 5 and under are guests of the Barony, but MUST have a reservation if occupying a seat.

Merchanting Information:  Please contact the Event Steward. There is no additional fee for merchants

Other Information:  All refund requests must be received IN WRITING within 7 days of the end of the event.  The only true reservation is a PAID reservation! There will be a lunch provided to purchase from the Baronial Youth at $3.

Directions:  

Take your best route to I-40 then to Wallace exit and turn on NC-41/50 East.  Then proceed on NC-41/50 East to Chinquapin. In Chinquapin you will take NC 50 East til  you come to Cypress Creek Rd and veer off of NC 50 to go down to Lightwood Bridge Rd. turn right then go to the Community Center on the right hand side.  Signs will be posted.   It can also be map quested.
