Warriors' Games
(2012-07-21 - Site opens at 10 AM & Closes at 9 PM)
Tear-Sea's Shore

Once again this summer as they have for decades past the fierce warriors of the south will prepare for war with celtic games to test a warrior’s bravery and skill.  Come compete with the folk of Tear-Sea’s Shore in the stone throw, the shield press, the caber toss, the sheep pitch, the fallen comrade rescue, and a host of other pastimes designed to challenge the most experienced warrior.  There will also be a celtic insult challenge, a bardic contest for songs and poems in praise of war and a competition for the newly made item which would add the most comfort or elegance to the warrior’s life in the field.

Martial Activities:  A Special Note: While the Warrior’s Games are by tradition a non-fighting event, in view of their proximity to Pennsic, we plan to set up a list for last-chance authorizations.  And, while there will be no formal tourney, there just might be some pick-up melees if there is enough demand.
