Good Gentles of Atlantia, come
celebrate with us September 8th, a
milestone, the Barony of Stierbach
20th birthday. We have a fun filled
day planned of armored fighting,
rapier fighting, target archery and
equestrian events. Come see the
wonderful Baronial Display for A&SWebsite: http://www.stierbach.org/index.php/baronial-birthday-xx
Martial Activities: Heavy Fighting, Rapier, Archery, Thrown Weapons, Equestrian
Arts & Sciences Activities: Genefe Wolfelin, current Baronial Arts & Sciences Champion
\"It is our 20th birthday! Let us celebrate this illustrious event by creating beautiful items that include 20 bulls. Present your work in any medium incorporating 20 bulls into your design or object. Items could be drawn, sewn, embroidered, baked, etc. Documentation is encouraged. EZ-Doc format is acceptable. This competition is designed to showcase your skills as an artisan as the Barony looks to choose its next Baronial A&S Champion!\"
The Youth of the Barony and beyond are invited to submit A&S entries for competition and display. The theme is Stierbach’s mascot, the Bull. Entrants are invited to take creative liberty with the bovine theme, and submit anything that has to do with cows. For inspiration, some examples might include items made with leather, cow horn (such as drinking horns, and bone or horn buttons). Artistic entries may include pictures of cows, embroidery and needle point featuring cows, or a piece of garb embellished with a cow. More examples might be something painted with a cow or something edible made from milk. Be creative! Entries in this category may be for competition or for display. Please indicate at drop off if you are entering the competition or the display.
Note to parents and potential entrants: This competition aims to serve as a gentle introduction to A&S competitions for youth entrants so that they may receive positive feedback and enjoy an encouraging and supportive experience. Prizes will be generously awarded to all entries in a wide variety of categories uniquely suited to a fun and light-hearted youth competition.
