Come all ye officers to a day of fun, frolic, and …er…meetings! Let’s get all the administrativia out of the way so we can Play at events! UnEvent, sponsored by the Kingdom of Atlantia, will be held in Dun Carraig’s lands this year, on Saturday, 3 December 2011.
The site for UnEvent is St. Joseph’s Church in lovely Pomfret, MD(that’s in southern Maryland, y’all!). The address is 4590 Saint Joseph Way, Pomfret, MD 20675. Pomfret is pretty much equidistant from both La Plata and Waldorf MD, and there are many hotels to chose from there. Check the website- http://unevent.atlantia.sca.org/ for details on hotels in the area.
The site opens at 9 am and closes at 6pm. Meetings begin at 9:30 am. The meeting schedule is posted on the event website. **Please note that there will be officers’ meetings and office hours, but there are NO order meetings at UnEvent this year.**

Cost Notes: This year there will be a small fee of $5.00 to help cover the cost of the site, and any other donations will be gratefully and exuberantly accepted.

Site Restrictions: The site is dry. No pets allowed. St. Joseph’s is a lovely little Catholic Church,that has a well-attended 4pm mass on Saturdays. The Church has asked us to park on the grass field at the church instead of the parking lot, to allow for their members to find parking for mass. There will be a Church parking staff to show you where to park.

Take your best route to Highway 301 South through Waldorf, MD. Drive approximately 4 miles. Turn right onto MD-227/Marshall Corner Rd.
Drive 4.2 miles, turn right onto Saint Joseph’s Way. You have arrived.
Directions from the south:
Take your best route to 301 North in LaPlata MD. Turn left onto W Hawthorne Rd/MD-225. Drive approx.. 3 miles, turn right onto Marshall Corner Rd. After 2.7 miles, turn left onto Saint Josephs Way. You have arrived.
