Storvik

Join the Barony of Storvik for our thirtieth birthday! We will be celebrating the history of Storvik. It will be a day of melee and A&S. All are welcome to stay the weekend.

Martial Activities: Heavy—William the Younger has planned a series of scenarios for melee combat based on the 14th century Hundred Years’ War. Fighting will start at 11am. Authorizations will start at 10. If enough people are ready to fight at 10, we may organize the jugging game (a la Blood of Heroes) with teams of 5 on 5.

A&S competition sponsored by Beatrix von Leipzig, Storvik’s MoAS. Poetry competition sponsored by Teleri the Well-Prepared, the Poeta Atlantiae: subject is the Legendary History of Storvik, preferably in Eddic form. Brewing roundtable led by Sorcha na Prechain, Kingdom Brewing Champion. Mead, beer, ale preferred; wine and cordial acceptable. See website for more details on A&S.

Merchants: Merchants’ Row is a partly shaded flat area. There will be no merchant fees beyond the regular site fee. Please contact the Event Steward to reserve space (deadline is Sept. 10).
