Majestic Magical Elegant
Not usually words to describe the Narwhal. Regardless, I think we might be able to get up to some Nautical Nonsense.

General Activities
Martial Activities:
Armored, Rapier, Archery and Thrown Weapons activities are planned and will be updated on the website.
There will be two rapier tournaments held at Feast of the Narwhal. The first will be a Black Sword single elimination tourney where each combatant is asked to bring their best to the field. The second tournament will be a Prowess Tourney. What is a Prowess Tourney? It is a tournament designed to test a fighter's skill in each of five rapier weapons forms (single sword, sword and dagger, sword and hard parry device, sword and soft parry device, and case). There will be a multiplier assigned to the number of wins in each weapon category (1 to 5). For each individual fencer, the category with the highest number of wins will receive the lowest multiplier. Correspondingly, for each individual fencer, the category with the fewest number of wins will receive the highest multiplier. In this scenario a fighter can maximize their score by having the same number of wins in each weapons category. Fighters are free to choose their own opponents and weapons forms (weapons forms do not have to match). They will fight a single pass and the winner will report their victory and weapons form to the MOL. Fighters are free to fight as much or as little as they like. Tentatively plan to run the tournament for 60 minutes.
There are 3 tournaments planned for the Armored Field.
Crest Tournament:
In the icy seas, shadows play and ice winds roar a great beast roams through night and day. With a spiral crown of ivory light atop its head, it cuts through waves and guides ships through winter’s bane. Beneath the stars, its gleam brings hope in the icy splash and provides a sigil of strength in the deep sea’s hold. A tale of wonder, will you be both brave and bold to take up the challenge of the Narwhal’s horn?
At the Barrier:
Hear the call of ancient echoes and join us at the barrier, where warriors’ fates will entwine! Upon the anvil of virtue, from distant lands and realms afar they will come to test their mettle. Combatants shall vie with matched weapons under azure sky at the barrier of old where the crowd will witness clash and cry. At the close of the day, only one victor will stand tall but the deeds of all will be honored wide.
Field of Roses:
Travel to the place of the horn-bear, where the sound of Hildr’s storm is heard. There noble wolf-feeders gather under shield of heaven with joyous winds caress. Terror of the byrnie dances along prow-sun to earn a bright raudr bloom. Drawing-rope of the measures of hearing will be woven and shared by those with firm kernel of courage to brave spear-din on the field of roses.
A&S:
It's not Viking! Unless perhaps you would like to help spread the word that viking is in fact a profession...
Show skills and trades generally attributed to "Vikings"
"Viking Knitting?" "Viking Crochet?" "Viking Knotwork?"
Or stubbornly make Cornelia Caeciliana's skin crawl. The choice is yours.
Gonna Need a Bigger Boat
-Sea Monsters in any medium
Silly Sea Beasts from the youth would also a most welcome sight!
Made to Travel
Items used on a ship
-Lamps of all cultures?
-Woodworking?
-Navigation?
Thar Be Sirens!
Bardic? Perhaps a new narwhal song that will become the newest earworm?
Or an epic poem telling the deeds of the great majestic narwhal on the sea?
Feast:
A fine feast inspired by Nordic travel.
Merchants:
Merchants are welcome! Please contact the Event Steward to ensure space.
