The year is 1274. The great mongol leader Kublai Khan has set his sights on Japan the last country in the east not under Mongol rule. With his massive armada of 900 ships and 40000 troops. In this epic battle, the Japanese defend from the Mongol invasion! So pull out your best Mongol or Japanese attire and come be a part of this awesome new event!

Martial Activities: Heavy combat, rapier, archery.

Arts & Sciences Activities:  A&S categories will include, and are separate categories: 1.anything documentable to the khans,mongolian life,or the steppes of mongolia. 2.best textile made from materials found in mongolia. 3.anything documentable to trade of silk or the silk road.

Directions from Asheville, NC:    Start out going northwest on Broadway St/US-25. Continue to follow US-25.  Take the S-74-ALT W/I-240 W/US-70 W ramp. If you reach Elm St you\'ve gone a little too far.  Merge onto US-74-ALT W.  Merge onto I-240 W toward I-26 E/I-40.   Merge onto I-26 E/US-74 E via the exit on the left toward Asheville Airport/Hendersonville/Spartanburg.  Merge onto US-25 S via EXIT 54 toward US-176/Greenville/NC-225 (Crossing into South Carolina).  Take the exit toward SC-11. If you reach Frontage Rd you\'ve gone about 0.2 miles too far.  Turn left onto SC-11.  Turn right onto Geer Hwy/US-276/SC-11. Continue to follow SC-11.  Turn left onto Pumpkin Town Rd/SC-8. Continue to follow SC-8. SC-8 is just past Pumpkin Ln. If you reach Pumpkintown Mtn Rd you\'ve gone a little too far.  Turn left onto SC-8/Hampton Ave. Continue to follow SC-8. Walgreens is on the corner. If you are on E Main St and reach N Lewis St you\'ve gone a little too far. Turn right onto Griffin Mill Rd.
