(2014-01-04 - Site opens at 9:00 AM & Closes at 8:00 PM)
Tir-y-Don

Please join us in a 14th/15th century Heilige Drei Konige (Holy Three Kings) celebration at the Inter-baronial 12th Night on January 4, 2014.  On this day we invite you to bring and participate in period table top games, A&S and brewing competitions/displays.  Throughout the morning afternoon and during the feast, bards are encouraged to awe the gathered guests with their traditional and/or original songs.  In the early afternoon, there will be at least an hour of dancing.

Arts & Sciences Activities:  There will be several Arts and Science Competitions:
* In tribute of the Holy Three Kings, there will be an Arts and Science Competition with the period of 1400 to 1550 with a theme of “three”.  The entrant can make three related items, or a single item that demonstrates the theme of three. Any non-edible medium will suffice.  Documentation required (short form-ok).
* To honor the Three Kings whose feast we celebrate, Lady Mariss Ghijs challenges her fellow companions of the Coral Branch to bring forth a gift befitting an infant.  Any variety of material or manufacture of your choice will be considered.  Please provide documentation.   Items will be judged by a panel of Master artists, and the best three will receive both acclaim and prizes.
*Brewing competition - The brothers of Woodside Priory will be hosting a Brewing competition and would encourage any and all brewers to participate. The competition will be held in three categories: beers, meads/wines, and cordials. Documentation is required. Entries will be judged based on the Atlantian Brewer\'s Guild guidelines. Please contact Lord Brian Crawford at lord.brian.crawford[AT]gmail.com if you have questions.
*Cookie Challenge – Bring 2 – 3 dozen cookies of your homemade, “period like” cookies of your choice with an ingredient list to share with the populace.  The first ten entrants will receive a small token of thanks.
*Open display table for A&S completed or "in progress" projects.
