As long, sunny days and warm nights herald in the summer months, we invite you to travel with us.. Our destination is the heart of the Eastern Roman Empire, the jewel of Byzantium, the glorious city of Constantinople. So don your traveling clothes and spend the first weekend of summer with friends, fighting, feasting and fun!

Martial Activities: For those who are martially inclined, there are scenarios planned for heavy fighting, rapier, and target archery. a day of competition for everyone: Heavy activities will include a Bedford-style point tourney, a novice tourney, and at least one melee battle! Cost Notes: Pre-registrations postmarked before June 1st will receive $1.00 off their site fee. Feast is $6.00 per seat (regardless of age)**If you would like to attend feast you must pre-register as feast spaces will not be sold at the gate** $3.00 Non-member surcharge applies to adults only. Site: Elchenburg Castle, 2239 Center Road, Booneville, NC 27011. The site is WET, with room for both period and modern tenting (There are no cabins on site) Site opens at 5pm on Friday and closes at 1pm on Sunday.
Site Restrictions: Pets are allowed, on leash.

Feast: A scrumptious feast celebrating the summer fare of Constantinople will be provided. This wonderful meal will be available to the first 65 people. (so get your reservation in early!) Please direct dietary concerns Eva Lao at megan.m.webb@gmail.com

Merchants: The marketplace in Constantinople is a sight to see! At every turn a new sight, scent or sound awaits. **Merchants are most welcome. There are no additional site fees but we ask that you please contact the Event Steward so room can be set for you**

Children's Activities: Ages 7-12 - We invite the children of Atlantia to test your abilities in our Decathlon. Ten fun-filled events will keep the boredom away! Directions:
From the south: Take your best route to I-77 North. Take exit 82 and turn right at the end of the exit ramp. *Proceed less than a mile and turn right onto Messick Rd. Proceed to the end of Messick Rd, and turn left on Center Road. Approx 8 miles later is a BP gas station on the left. 1.4 miles past the BP station, turn right at the first castle on the right on a gravel road. Signs will be posted.
From Hwy 421(coming east from Winston Salem): Travel to exit 259 Reavis Rd. Turn left onto Reavis Rd. Travel .8 miles to stop sign. Turn right. Travel .5 mile and turn left onto Center Rd. Travel 3 miles and turn left onto Willow Spring Ln.
